TGM Original Questions

Rectangle \(ABCD\) has sides \(AB=18\) cm and \(BC=12\) cm. In Diagram 1, \(A\) lies on horizontal line \(XY\) and \(B\) is 6 cm above it. Find

    1. \(\angle BAY\),
    2. \(\angle CAB\),
    3. \(AC\). In Diagram 2, the rectangle is rotated until \(C\) is vertically above \(A\). Find the angle made by \(AB\) with the horizontal. Give non-exact lengths, areas and other numerical values to 3 significant figures, and angles to 1 decimal place, unless otherwise stated.
