TGM Original Questions

\(PQRS\) is a rectangular box in cross-section, with \(PS=6\) m and \(RS=15\) m. Points \(S,A,B\) lie on horizontal ground. Given \(AR=9\) m and \(\angle BAR=42^\circ\), find

  1. the height of \(R\) above the ground,
  2. the angle \(\theta\) through which side \(SR\) is tilted above the ground,
  3. the height of \(Q\) above the ground. Give non-exact lengths, areas and other numerical values to 3 significant figures, and angles to 1 decimal place, unless otherwise stated.
