Remarks about convergence of Maclaurin's series

Remarks about convergence of Maclaurin's series

IB Year 6 | Grade 12

Remarks

Note that for Step (2), it is assumed that the derivative of \(f\) can be obtained by differentiating the associated Maclaurin's series of \(f\).

As a result, it is not to be expected that every infinitely differentiable function equals to its Maclaurin's series expansion because it takes more than just this condition for equality to happen.
