TGM Original Questions

In trapezium \(ABCD\), \(AD\) is parallel to \(BC\). The diagonals \(AC\) and \(BD\) intersect at \(O\). \(POQ\) is a straight line that is parallel to \(AD\) and \(BC\). Prove that

  1. \(\frac{1}{PO} = \frac{1}{AD} + \frac{1}{BC}\),
  2. \(PO = OQ\), and
  3. \(PQ = \frac{2AD \times BC}{AD + BC}\).
