In a class of 40 students, \({\frac{2}{5}}\) are girls and the remaining students are boys. Two of the girls are short-sighted compared to 5 boys who are short-sighted. If a student is selected at random, find the probability that the student will be

1. a short-sighted boy,
2. a non short-sighted girl.
