A particle moves in a straight line from \(O\). Its displacement after \(t\) seconds is \(s=kt^2-\dfrac13t^3\) metres, where \(k>0\). The particle is instantaneously at rest when \(t=8\).

  1. Find the value of \(k\).[2]
  2. Find the greatest displacement of the particle from \(O\).[2]
  3. Hence calculate the total distance travelled in the first \(10\) seconds.[3]
