A restaurant’s regular food subtotal for a set menu is \(\$200\). On Friday it offers 20% off the food subtotal and adds a 10% service charge on the discounted subtotal. On Saturday the same discount still applies, but the service charge rate rises by 1 percentage point. On Sunday there is no discount and the Saturday service charge rate applies to the full food subtotal. GST of 9% applies every day to the amount including service charge.
