The displacement, \(s\) metres, of a particle from a fixed point \(O\) is given by \(s=10+12t-3t^2\), where \(t\) is the time in seconds after observation begins.

  1. Find the displacement of the particle when \(t=3\).[1]
  2. Find the time at which the particle is instantaneously at rest.[1]
  3. Calculate the total distance travelled by the particle in the first \(4\) seconds.[3]
