In triangle \(ABC\), \(a\), \(b\) and \(c\) are the opposite sides of the interior angles \(A\), \(B\) and \(C\), respectively.
It is given that \(c = 2\) and \(b = \sqrt{2}a\), show that the maximum area of triangle \(ABC\) is \(2\sqrt{2}\).
Hence find the exact value of \(a\) when the area of triangle is maximised.
