Graphing and Interpreting a Linear Function

Graphing and Interpreting a Linear Function

TGM Original
  1. Complete this table of values for \(y=-2x+3\).
    \(x\) \(-2\)\(0\)\(2\)
    \(y\)
  2. On the sheet of graph paper, using a scale of \(2\)cm to represent \(1\) unit on the \(x\)-axis and \(1\) cm to represent \(1\) unit on the \(y\)-axis, draw the graph of the linear function \(y=-2x+3\) for \(-2\le x\le 2\).
  3. From the graph, find the
    1. value of \(y\) when \(x=-\frac{1}{2}\) ,
    2. the gradient of the equation \(y=-2x+3\).
