Exponential Curves

Exponential Curves

\[y=e^x+a\]

Horizontal asymptote: \(y=a\)

As \(x\to-\infty\), \(e^x\to0\), so \(y\to a\).

\(y\)-intercept: \(x=0\Rightarrow y=e^0+a=1+a\).
