Two vectors are said to be equal vectors when they have the same magnitude and the same direction.

\[\begin{pmatrix} m \\ n \end{pmatrix} = \begin{pmatrix} p \\ q \end{pmatrix} \text{ if and only if}\hspace{0.5em} m=p \text{ and}\hspace{0.5em} q=s.\]
