Distance from a position parabola

Distance from a position parabola

7 marks
TGM Original

Answer:\(v=6-2t\ \mathrm{m\,s^{-1}}\), \(a=-2\ \mathrm{m\,s^{-2}}\); rest at \(3\) s. Distance is \(6t-t^2\) m up to \(3\) s and \(t^2-6t+18\) m thereafter, ending at \(18\) m.
