Vectors - Intersection of Two Lines

Secondary 3

The line \(4x - 5y + 10 = 0\) cuts the line \(y = 8 - 4x\) at point \(P\).

  1. Find the coordinates of \(P\).
  2. \(Q\) is the point \((k, 9)\).
If points \(P\) and \(Q\) lie on the line \(l\) with gradient of \(-3\), calculate the value of \(k\).
