Discrete Random Variables (DRV) - Binomial Probabilities Using Technology

In a large population, \(12\%\) of the population is left handed. Samples of \(7\) people are randomly chosen from the population.

  1. Calculate the probability that more than \(2\) people in a sample are left handed.
  2. \(3\) such samples of \(7\) people are taken. Find the probability that
    1. Each of the \(3\) samples has more than \(2\) people who are left-handed.
    2. One of the \(3\) samples has exactly \(1\) person who is left-handed, while the remaining \(2\) samples have more than \(2\) people who are left handed.
    3. One of the \(3\) samples has less than \(3\) people who are left-handed, another has exactly \(3\) people who are left-handed and the remaining sample has more than \(3\) people who are left-handed.
    4. There are total of \(3\) people who are left-handed from the \(3\) samples.
