Angle between two complex numbers on an Argand diagram

IB Year 6 | Grade 12

Two complex numbers are given by \(z_1=\sqrt{3}+i\) and \(z_2=-1+i\).

  1. Show \(z_1\) and \(z_2\) on the same Argand diagram.
  2. If \(z_1\) and \(z_2\) are represented by points \(P\) and \(Q\) respectively, find the angle \(POQ\).
