It is given that \(\dfrac{5x+1}{(x+1)(x-1)}=\dfrac{A}{x+1}+\dfrac{B}{x-1}\) for all values of \(x\) other than \(-1\) and \(1\), where \(A\) and \(B\) are constants.

  1. Find the values of \(A\) and \(B\).[4]
  2. Hence solve the equation \(\dfrac{5x+1}{x^2-1}=\dfrac{2}{x+1}+6\).[3]
