TGM Original Questions

Relative to origin \(O\), the vertices \(A,B,C\) of a triangle have position vectors \(\mathbf{a},\mathbf{b},\mathbf{c}\) respectively. Points \(M\) and \(N\) are the midpoints of \(AB\) and \(AC\). Use vectors to prove that \(MN\) is parallel to \(BC\) and half its length.[4]
