The diagram shows speed-time graphs for a motorbike and a cyclist, travelling along the same road in the same direction.

  1. Find the acceleration of the motorbike during the first 6 seconds.[1]
  2. Without further calculation, state and explain whether the magnitude of the deceleration in the last stage is greater than, less than, or equal to the acceleration in the first stage.[1]
  3. When \(t=0\), the motorbike is 12 m behind the cyclist.
When \(t=T\), the motorbike passes the cyclist.
