The position vectors of the points \(A\), \(B\), \(C\) and \(D\) are given by \(\overrightarrow{OA}=2\mathbf{i}+4\mathbf{j}-4\mathbf{k}\), \(\overrightarrow{OB}=4\mathbf{i}+5\mathbf{j}\), \(\overrightarrow{OC}=-\mathbf{i}-2\mathbf{j}-\mathbf{k}\) and \(\overrightarrow{OD}=2\mathbf{i}-\mathbf{j}+4\mathbf{k}\) where \(O\) is the origin. Show that \(AC\) is perpendicular to both \(AB\) and \(DC\).[3]
The point \(E\) on \(AC\) is such that \(2\overrightarrow{AE}=\overrightarrow{EC}\) and \(l\) is the line through \(E\) perpendicular to \(AB\) and to \(AE\).
