Mid Year Exam

In the diagram above, \(AC=10\), \(AD=8\), \(BC=5\), angle \(ADC\) is a right angle and angle \(BCD=\theta \) radians. By considering angle \(ACD\), show that \(AB\approx {{\left( 65-80\theta +30{{\theta }^{2}} \right)}^{\frac{1}{2}}}\approx p+q\theta +r{{\theta }^{2}}\) is a sufficiently small angle, where \(p\), \(q\) and \(r\) are constants to be determined exactly.[7]
