Vectors - Distance from a Point to a Plane

Vectors - Distance from a Point to a Plane

The line \(l\) passes through the points \(A\) and \(B\) with coordinates \((-1, 2, 3)\) and \((5, 14, 11)\) respectively. The plane \(p\) has equation \(2x + 3y - 6z = -7\).

  1. Show that the line \(l\) is parallel but not contained on the plane \(p\).
  2. Find the distance of the line \(l\) from the plane \(p\).
  3. Find a cartesian equation of the plane which contains \(l\) and is perpendicular to \(p\).
